Overview and Costs

This is the 14th season for Jumpstart Volleyball Club. We are a club that focuses on fundamentals while offering competitiveness in the various age groups and teams. Our goal is to help your daughter acquire skills to enhance her opportunities to play high school volleyball. We offer teams in two different groups; Area and Area/Travel.  All leagues are governed by the Northern California Volleyball Association (NCVA).  NCVA does not post where each team will play until usually a few days prior to the tournament day. 

Although our main focus is fundamentals, we also seek to provide competitiveness at each respective age level while keeping in mind time commitments from not only players but also their families. The season begins in November for all teams and ends in first weekend in June.

Area

We are offering one 12s team.  These team is focused on learning the fundamentals and having equal playing time.  All tournaments are usually within 90 minutes from Santa Clara County.  In addition to the standard league and non league tournaments, the team will also participate in two other tournaments, which are local.  The approximate cost for the area team is $1,995. 

Area/Travel

We are offering one 14s team and one 16s team.  These teams are focused on learning the fundamentals while offering a more competitive aspect.  Although coaches will strive to provide equal playing time, the teams are more competitive.  We ensure every player will play in at least one game within a match.  All tournaments are usually within 90 minutes from Santa Clara County.  In addition to the standard league and non league tournaments, these teams will also participate in two other tournaments.  One will be local and the other in Reno, Nevada, a three day tournament.  The approximate cost for the area/travel team is $2,595 (which does not include the player's traveling costs).
