Time Commitment

Jumpstart's focus is that all players have a balance between volleyball and other activities, which include other sports and family commitments.  We strive for all players to be well rounded.  With that, players who decide to join our club are making a commitment to the club and their team.  We expect players to attend practice, on time for the entire practice and attend tournaments.  This is crucial so players understand where to go on the court and to facilitate team bonding/camaraderie.  We understand there will be exceptions, but please remember the commitment to the club and team.  Exceptions will be handled by the coach and/or club.    

All teams will practice twice a week, between Monday and Thursday for two hours.  Practices are held at local schools or community centers.  We attempt to keep the schedule as consistent as possible, however, changes to the schedule may occur throughout the season.  We are using someone else's facilities, therefore, unforeseen changes from the school district, individual schools and others may affect our practice times and/or locations.

Area

The area team will participate in 13 tournaments throughout the season.  Three of these tournaments are two days.  All tournaments are usually within 90 minutes from Santa Clara County. 

Area/Travel

The area/travel team will participate in 15 tournaments throughout the season.  Two tournaments are two days and one is three days.  All tournaments are usually within 90 minutes from Santa Clara County except for the three day, which is in Reno, Nevada.
